Our Approach

WHY CHOOSE ARIZONA SENIOR OPTIONS?

Local Experts: Family owned and locally operated, we are experienced, compassionate, licensed and certified healthcare professionals with a genuine passion for helping the senior community in Arizona.

Here For You, Always: Our ethical and caring advisors provide support and guidance from the first conversation as we learn each family’s unique circumstances, and continue to follow up to ensure the chosen senior community and care services are surpassing expectations.

Time and Money Saving Resource: We save you money and reduce unnecessary stress by providing hands-on guidance, education and price negotiation. We also help with long-term care insurance and other funding options for senior care such as the veteran’s aid and attendance benefits.

Safe Senior Living and Care Options: We thoroughly pre-screen, inspect the physical premises, and consistently monitor our community care partners. We conduct a complete background check consisting of state violation history audits, allowing us to guide families only to the care providers that meet our high and stringent standards of quality care and safety.

Complimentary Services: NO HIDDEN FEES -- Our services are at NO COST to seniors or their families. We are funded by our collaborative partnerships with senior living communities established throughout the valley.

Our goal is to provide you with a level of service that we expect or may need for our own family member.

We, at Arizona Senior Options, are committed and passionate in helping families and their loved ones through one of life’s most challenging transitions with compassion, dignity, professionalism and respect. Our unique focus and mission is to make every experience ‘personal’, working with you side-by-side to ensure a smooth transition in finding a safe and loving environment.

Arizona Senior Options offers no cost community resources, including referral and placement services, helping families navigate through the complex options for senior living and care. We believe in treating our clients like family, and assume an invaluable role serving as compassionate advisors to families grappling with the best way to help their aging loved ones.

We have been working in the geriatric healthcare domain for over a decade and have extensive hands-on experience working in assisted living and hospice care as certified and licensed professionals. During this time, we’ve built a fully vetted and reputable list of senior care resources whom we have entrusted as sources for our patients and have partnered with them to provide quality and holistic care services to families and their loved ones. We hold ourselves to the highest moral and ethical standards and our network consists of professionals of similar discipline and principles – from elder law attorneys, fiduciaries, home care, home health, hospice to a diversity of quality, pre-screened senior living communities and residential care homes.

In many families, conversations with elders about the eventual need for care may not happen until there is a crisis. Many families come to us because life-changing decisions suddenly have to be made after an accident or illness. Family members may already be burdened with trying to care for their loved one at home; or decision-makers may live too far away to properly evaluate everything themselves. Besides being stressful, these situations can leave seniors and their families vulnerable to unscrupulous senior care providers and agencies.

Whether your search for senior housing is prompted by a serious medical condition or the desire for a lifestyle change, finding the right place to live can be challenging and stressful for both you and your family. However, the earlier you assess your current needs and how those needs may evolve over time, the more choices and control you’ll have. By learning about the different types of senior housing available, you can make the choice that’s right for you and ensure you enjoy a happy, healthy, and fulfilling life as you age.

The lack of clarity about senior community types not only inconveniences families who waste time and energy researching inappropriate care options. It can also potentially endanger the senior when the family’s confusion about the right care type causes a delay putting in place the appropriate kind of care. Or in the rare but troubling cases when communities don’t have top-notch admission procedures, residents may be admitted to facilities that don’t offer an adequate level of care, which is discernibly dangerous to the resident. Other times, residents may be admitted to communities that offer much more care than is required, which usually results in unnecessary money being spent and also a resident who is unsatisfied and out of place because the resident is among the only relatively healthy seniors among a group of elderly people who need much more intense care.

It’s essential that the senior’s chosen community offers enough care, and it’s ideal that residents have the opportunity to be among peers with similar ability levels. These simple, but important criteria can be met when the right kind of facility is chosen.

As a FREE service to the public, we at Arizona Senior Options provide expert senior care referrals and information to help families with the stressful, often emotional process of finding living options.
